Part Used: Herb Sheep sorrel is considered the one of the most active herbs in Esiak for stimulating cellular regeneration, detoxification, cleansing, as a vermifuge - intestinal worms have no resistance to the natural properties of this herb. the tea was used traditionally as a diuretic and to treat fevers, inflammation and scurvy. Sheep sorrel taken as a cool drink may reduce a fever. As a tea it is good for diarrhea, a gargle for sore throats. Taken as a tea the recommended dosage is one to three cups per day, using one teaspoon of dried herb per cup of water. |
